What We Believe

God

We believe that God is the eternal Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists as one God in distinction: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. These three are equal, -eternal, and fully God—distinct, yet united in essence and purpose.

The Authority of Scripture

We believe that the Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God—written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Scripture is without error in its original manuscripts and stands as the supreme authority for faith, belief, and Christian living, revealing God’s truth, character, and redemptive plan for humanity.

• Psalm 119:105
• Proverbs 30:5
• 2 Timothy 3:16–17
• 2 Peter 1:20–21

The Great Commission

We believe in the mandate of the Great Commission, in which Jesus Christ commands His Church to go into all the world and make disciples. This calling extends beyond attendance to intentional discipleship, proclaiming the gospel, baptizing believers, teaching obedience to Christ, and empowering people to live as faithful witnesses of the Kingdom of God in every sphere of life.

We believe the Church is both sent and empowered—called to reach the lost, build believers, and demonstrate the love and authority of Christ locally and globally through word, deed, and transformed lives.

• Mark 16:15–20
• Luke 24:45–47

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is made possible through repentance and belief in Christ, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Through Him, believers are forgiven, redeemed, justified, and sealed by the Holy Ghost.

Blessed Hope and the Return of Christ

We believe in the rapture of the Church and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We affirm that Jesus will return visibly and bodily, just as He ascended, to establish His Kingdom in fullness and to bring all things into divine order according to God’s redemptive plan.

We believe that the people of God will experience the restoration of all things spoken by the prophets, and that Christ’s return will mark the fulfillment of God’s promises, the vindication of His righteousness, and the ultimate triumph of His Kingdom on the earth.

This hope compels believers to live with expectancy, faithfulness, and holy devotion, knowing that our present labor in the Lord is not in vain.

The Gathering of Believers

We believe in the importance, value, and necessity of believers gathering together in community. The Church is the Body of Christ, designed to function through unity, fellowship, spiritual gifts, and mutual care. Corporate gathering strengthens faith, nurtures spiritual growth, and fosters accountability and love among believers.

We Believe in the Practice of Spiritual Disciplines

We believe in the necessity and power of spiritual discipline as essential practices for personal and spiritual growth. These disciplines—including prayer, fasting, and meditation on the Word of God—were modeled by the Lord Jesus Christ and are vital for cultivating intimacy with God, spiritual maturity, and Christlike character.

Jesus consistently withdrew to pray, fasted for spiritual preparation and clarity, and lived in complete alignment with the Word of God. Following His example, we embrace spiritual disciplines not as religious obligations, but as grace-filled practices that shape our hearts, sharpen our discernment, and align our lives with God’s will.

Through these disciplines, believers are strengthened to live victoriously, walk in obedience, and remain spiritually alert in a changing world.

• Ephesians 6:18 – Praying in the Spirit
• James 5:16 – The effectiveness of fervent prayer

Water Baptism

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism as an outward expression of an inward transformation. Baptism symbolizes identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection and serves as a public declaration of faith and obedience to Christ.

• Matthew 28:19
• Acts 2:38; 10:44–48; 19:1–7
• Romans 6:4
• Colossians 2:12

Holy Communion

We believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion as a sacred act of remembrance of the death, sacrifice, and redemptive work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through Communion, believers reflect, give thanks, and proclaim the Lord’s death until He returns.

Scripture References:
• Matthew 26:26–28
• 1 Corinthians 11:24–26

Marriage

We believe in the sacred covenant of marriage as ordained by God, uniting one man and one woman. Marriage reflects God’s design for companionship and serves as a living picture of the relationship between Christ and His Church, providing a framework for love, commitment, intimacy, and mutual support.
